GPSA's four officers, or Executive Board, are Pitt graduate students that are elected to one-year terms by their peers.The Executive Board and Provost office appoint an Administrative Assistant that is also a graduate student.

Daniel Jimenez, president.pittgpsa@gmail.com
Daniel is a 5th year predoctoral fellow in the Center for Neuroscience (CNUP). He is currently concluding his dissertation research investigating how neural stem cells integrate into the adult brain. Following his time at Pitt he plans to pursue a career intersecting academic health science research and national science policy.
Daniel is available to meet with students from 10-12 on Mondays in the GPSA office and at other times by appointment.

Marguerite is a 3rd year Neuroscience Ph.D. student in the School of Arts & Sciences. Her research focus is studying the role of dopamine in adolescence using animal models. She is involved in Pitt's A&S GSO and the Pan-African GPSU. As GPSA Vice President of Committees, Marguerite is committed to ensuring that each university-wide committee receives appropriate graduate/professional student representation and that graduate/professional students are aware of the opportunities to serve on these committees.

PJ is a fifth year Computer Science Ph. D. student in the School of Arts & Sciences. When he's not fulfilling his VP of Communications dutes, PJ studies mobile communication is constrained networking environments. You can catch him at any of the number of GPSA events throughout the year, through email, or on Facebook.
Chan Braithwaite, finance.pittgpsa@gmail.com
Chan is a JD/MBA dual degree student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and Katz Graduate School of Business studying international business. He enjoys golf, basketball, volleyball and traveling. As this year's VP of Finance Chan is leading an ad hoc committee of students over the summer to analyze and improve upon the travel grant program.

Assembly Board Groups
Assembly Board Groups are recognized student organizations who are funded annually by GPSA through the graduate student activity fee. They provide representation for their students on the GPSA Assembly Board. They provide programming open to students from across Pitt. And they provide services for their students such as transportation from the airport and help finding housing for international students as they arive in the United States.
